Flying Camera

I recently finished an illustration for a local photographer. This image will make its way onto t-shirts, coffee mugs and who knows what else...

Some preliminary sketches for the project...

Dundee

Here's an ink on paper caricature I did for a friend of mine, as a Christmas present for his girlfriend. It's currently hanging outside the door to her office...

The finished product...

Anderson and Theresa

Last summer I peeled myself away from the Mac for a bit and busted out the power tools and paint brushes to throw together a cornhole set as a wedding present for some friends back in Michigan. Here we see the boxes in progress...

And here's Anderson posing by his half of the finished product on the day before his wedding in Northern Michigan's beautiful Benzie County...

World Naked Bike Ride

Here's a fundraising letter I did for Shift, the folks who put on Portland's annual two-week cycling festival, Pedalpalooza, which includes the local iteration of the World Naked Bike Ride (largest in North America, btw; Portland had 13,000 riders last year!). Click on the image to see a version you can actually read...

Smith Rock Illustration

Here's an illustration I did for a friend who does design and photography work (in exchange for this piece, he did the lager shot for the Beer Authority business card) who was putting together a project for Timberline Mountain Guides and Smith Rock Climbing School...

This image appeared on t-shirts, as well as the rack card below. Look for it the next time you pass through a hotel or restaurant anywhere in the Cascades...

Beer Authority Identity

A couple of years ago, I was hired to do a basic identity package for a bottle shop in Seattle. Here's the logo...

And the business card...

Rose City Natural Soda

Here's some identity and collateral work I did for a soda business that never got off the ground. First up, a couple different versions of the logo:

Here's the label for the bottles...

One fierce soda coaster...

Last but not least, the business card...

This is obviously very different, stylistically, from the rest of the package. And yes, you're reading that right... I was, for a very brief period in time, a CEO!
